More than making history... It's making the future.
The time is now for our region to affirm our commitments to ecological thinking, and bring climate conversations to more spaces as only public art can. Accumulating Rhythms is committed to creating a sustainable artwork, achieving net-zero embedded and operational carbon emissions through offsets realized at a hyper-local level. Once realized, this project is poised to become one of the largest—if not the largest—net-zero public artworks of its kind in North America, and potentially the world.

FAQ
Why the Tobin?
The Tobin Bridge is an iconic regional landmark whose distinctive cantilever truss-style structure lends itself naturally to dynamic lighting installations. Its physical form provides efficient and abundant mounting points, ideal for visually impactful illumination. Additionally, the Tobin Bridge's prominent visibility from numerous vantage points ensures that the artwork will reach a wide audience, offering viewers an authentic glimpse into the bridge’s structural integrity and gritty character, qualities that deeply resonate with the artistic vision of MASARY Studios.
Where will the lights be mounted?
The precise lighting design is currently under development, but our approach will avoid any installations overhead of the roadway or in substantial view of drivers, for safety reasons. Instead, we envision strategically placed lighting fixtures illuminating both the interior and exterior areas of the bridge's main truss structure, ensuring captivating visuals from every perspective without favoring a single viewing angle.
